Clouds And Buildings Are Used By A Fashion Illustrator To Complete His Dress Designs

You may recall a post we did about Shamekh Bluwi, a Jordan-based architect and fashion illustrator who decorates his cutout dresses with clouds, buildings, and whatever else he can find. Now he’s back with even more exquisite patterns, and as you can see, his fashion designs are just as inventive as ever.

Bluwi was inspired for the idea during a trip to Dubai. He decided to turn the cities he visited into clothing designs in order to incorporate his travel experiences into his fashion illustrations. Bluwi can use a single template to create an infinite number of patterns ranging from water and sky to buildings and doorways by holding the cutout against various landscapes. Despite its simplicity, it is smart, resourceful, and fantastically creative. Check out the images below to see for yourself.
